People are already excited about the new announcements of the 2018 and you don't need to look any further than our top 10 trending phones chart to know it. We've got three phones that are yet to be announced on the list, two of which are on the podium.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is at the very top, extending its streak to five weeks, while the Xioami Mi A1 gets second for the fourth week in a row.
In third we have the Samsung Galaxy S9 - the upcoming Korean flagship rising up two more spots since last week.
That left Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro off the rostrum in fourth, just ahead of the improving Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus.
In sixth we have the Nokia 7 plus, which might see the light of day at the upcoming MWC at the end of the month.
The Galaxy A8 (2018) lost quite a lot of ground dropping to seventh, while the Xiaomi Redmi 5A climbed a spot to eight.
The Oppo F5 slid down to ninth, while the Huawei Honor 9 Lite took advantage of its European launch to return to the top 10.
All in all plenty of new names and movement all around the chart. While that's normally good when you look at the big picture as it signals interesting new devices, it wasn't good news to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy A8+ (2018), which had to make room for the new arrivals.
