iPhone and iPad will get a Dual core Graphics

iPhone and iPad will get a Dual core Graphics

Today Mashable has posted a post regarding Apple iPad and iPhone future version, actually its not a post but a rumor. According to this, The future version of iPhone & iPad will have a A4 chip with a dual-core graphics processing unit that will enable users to view extremely High Definition(even beyond that) content on their devices.
Most probably they will use a SGX543 GPU built by Imagination Technologies. But it is still a rumor and nothing is confirm yet. Another news from Mashable is that-
iPad 2 will have a much higher resolution screen than its predecessor.
The SGX543 graphics chip will be used along with dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and it will make iPad a very powerful strong gadget device that will be able to do many other tasks than its predecessor along with playing extremely super quality HD video.
ipad
The main and unique feature of SGX543 is that if you will run the device at 200 MHz then it will deliver 35 million polygons per second and filtrate of 1 billion pixels per second.
Another good thing about SGX543 is that it supports Apple-Backed OpenCL specifications so it means it is compatible with Apple devices and it will offer a good performance to the device.
Appleinsider has posted a long story representing the complete picture and all the features in the much more details.
Some broad points are – This graphic chip will not only enhance games but also video processing that includes dynamic encoding decoding process. And this will allow Apple to easily upgrade to HDMI port.
Second is The SGX543 core is so powerful that it can run parallel as many as 16 cores together. And many more things.
So its look like boon for Apple gadgets. I think they are gearing up to beat other competitors specially recent 4G mobile releasing companies.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz 2 preview and its features

Sony Ericsson Vivaz 2 preview and its features

After so many recent developments in the mobile phone sector. We are back today with new Sony Ericsson gadget. This time we will talk about their new awaited phone Vivaz 2. This phone is reviewed by Eldar Murtazin of mobile-review and he has written a pretty good review about it.
As you know, Sony is known for producing stylish phones to match with GenX. Some of its phones are a great hit. It has many similarity with its predecessor Vivaz. Vivaz 2 is little bigger and heavy too. It is also currently known as MT15i. According to Eldar, more weight and bigger size makes it perfect and well balanced. The phone is powered by Google Android OS.
vivaz2
The phone has a Glossy shinning plastic case body so you may find your fingertips on its body. The phone has three buttons- one is Return key, second is Home key and the third is Menu option button. The phone has a light sensor which helps it to auto adjust its brightness according to the light quantity. The phone has two camera one at the front and second at the rear along with LED flash light just like any other modern mobile. The camera is nice and offers good quality photography. The speaker is placed at the bottom so the sound might decrease if you hold the handset in your hand. At the top, you will see a receiver, a flash camera and some other items that we normally don’t see in a normal phone.
On the top, there is a standard 3.5mm jack for connecting headset along with a microSD card slot. The screen has a 480×854 pixels resolution so its pretty good too. The phone is powered by 1500 mAh BA700 battery. The backup is quite good and optimal. The phone comes with USB, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity features so transferring is very easier.
It got 512MB of RAM and almost 300MB available for storage. The user interface is pretty good, some nice 3D apps are added and many default Android OS elements are replaced by Sony just like any other manufacturer does.
So the conclusion is its a nice mid size phone with some good features and specification and it can be a good competitor with other mobiles too

Satarii’s Star iPhone Dock Suggests The Future Of Teleconferencing (video)

Satarii’s Star iPhone Dock Suggests The Future Of Teleconferencing (video)

If Satarii’s auto-follow dock for the iPhone doesn’t come to be, something is wrong with the world.
Using funraising site IndieGoGo, the inventor duo behind Satarii’s Star is trying to find enough potential customers to build a market, and eventually, a product for the market. The Star is basically an evolved tripod, that looks like a very miniaturized shopping cart. The iPhone mounts on it in a vertical position, and a remote sensor is attached to anything you want to follow – be it yourself or some other moving object. It works within 20 feet of the dock, and the base will rotate up to 180 degrees.
It can also be used for presentations, as it will easily follow a human hand gesturing towards scribblings on a whiteboard.
Satarii’s goal of $20k has been halfway met, and they have a perfectly working prototype.

Blackberry Storm 3 Leaked

Blackberry Storm 3 Leaked

RIM isn’t ready to give up on the Storm just yet.  BGR got their hands on leaked images of what they’re saying is the Blackberry Storm 3.  Arg, enough already RIM.
In terms of specs, and despite the model name, which has long been regarded as a mistake by RIM, this version of the device is rounding out to do some heavy lifting.  The  big take aways?  A 1.2ghz processor and 3.7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen.
Others specs include a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video mode, quad band GSM connectivity, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3G mobile hotspot, optical trackpad, 1230 mAh battery and Tri-band UMTS/HSPA support.
Word has it the Blackberry Storm 3 will launch sometime this September, but don’t count on it maintaining the Storm moniker, at least not internationally.

iPhone 4 on Verzion’s CDMA network will be announced next week

iPhone 4 on Verzion’s CDMA network will be announced next week

Jan 09, 2011
Verizon CDMA iPhone 4We are all eagerly anticipating next Apple event planned for the next Tuesday January 11 when reportedly iPad 2 is going to be announced. But not only that as it turns out. Verizon may also become the second US network dealing iPhones. iPhone 4 models to be precise as they will (expectedly) be specifically manufactured to operate on CDMA network. This is yet a question if Verizon iPhone 4 will support 4G network as well. My word is that it will not. I reckon Apple will add 4G support to iPhones of all models if there will actually be dispersion in the next generation, but I would gladly be wrong on this one. So far it is clear that Verizon iPhone will look the same and, of course, will not be the fith generation model as ones might have thought. At the moment we have only one remotely relevant proof that Verizon will get the iPhones: iPhone 3G S has just gone cheaper on AT&T.

iPhone 4 Comes to Verizon Wireless

Finally, the iPhone will no longer become an exclusive smartphone for AT&T as the iPhone 4 is coming to Verizon Wireless. The Verizon iPhone 4, however, has slight changes from its AT&T cousin. For one, it will come as a CDMA version and a WiFi mobile hotspot option that can accommodate up to five users. It also has a new antenna design to adapt with CDMA configurations, which may require users to buy another case apart from what they already have in the other iPhone.
However, when it comes to comparing it with the other iPhone 4 model, the AT&T version comes as a superior model. The Verizon iPhone does not have global roaming capability and simultaneous voice and data on 3G speed. The only consolation, however, is that iPhone users can now have an option to break free from an underperforming carrier.
The iPhone 4 will become available for Verizon Wireless beginning February 10. No price plan has been given yet. Verizon has also confirmed of coming up with its version of the iPad, although not much detail was divulged.

PlayStation Phone Coming in Spring 2011

Sony's long-rumored PlayStation Phone could soon become a reality. The company will launch a device blending the features of a PlayStation Portable and cell phone in the spring of 2011, according to a report in Japan's Asahi Shimbun newspaper on Tuesday.
The device will be based on the PSPgo and will retain the PSP's familiar gaming controls, the report said.
The PSPgo is a smaller version of the PlayStation Portable and went on sale in late 2009. It links to Sony's PlayStation Network service and relies on a Wi-Fi link for downloads of software, music and movies. Despite extensive promotion by Sony, sales of the PSPgo have been weak and the company has been looking for a way to boost demand.
The new device is being developed by Sony Ericsson and will go on sale first in Europe and the U.S., according to the Asahi Shimbun.
"The report isn't based on anything that we have announced," said Ayano Higuchi, a spokeswoman for Sony. "We do not comment on rumor or speculation."
Sony has been avoiding comment on rumors of the PlayStation Phone for several months. Development of the device has been reported by several media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, and earlier this month a video appeared on YouTube that purports to show a development handset from Sony Ericsson.
Speaking to reporters last week in Tokyo, Kaz Hirai, head of Sony's gaming business, said that if Sony was to compete in the cell-phone gaming market it would be with a device that appealed more to core gamers.
He said the device would carry the PlayStation's DNA and match Sony's vision of gaming, which is different to those of companies developing Android and iPhone games.
Should Sony be about to launch the phone in the U.S., it could make an appearance at next week's International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Sony typically uses the annual event to debut products and services that it plans to launch in the U.S. market in the first half of the year.
